There isn’t one price that fits every scrap car in Toronto. A useful quote starts with the vehicle itself: its make, model, year, condition, and what is still with it.
Start with the basics
Use the full model name and year when you request a quote. If you know the trim or engine details, add those too. You do not need to guess: tell us when you are unsure, and the team can ask follow-up questions.
Describe its actual condition
A running vehicle, one with mechanical problems, and one with collision damage can be assessed differently. Describe what you know: whether it starts, whether it can move, and any major damage. A clear description makes it easier to discuss a realistic offer.
Mention missing parts
Let us know if important parts are missing, including the catalytic converter. The quote form asks about this directly. Do not choose “intact” if you are uncertain; add a note or call the team to clarify.
Include the pickup situation
Where the car is parked matters to the collection plan. An open driveway, underground garage, and repair-shop lot can have very different access requirements. Include the location and any restrictions so they can be discussed before booking.
Compare the complete offer
Ask what the offer includes, whether any collection costs apply, and when and how payment will be made. Confirm the details before accepting. A quote is most useful when both sides are working from the same vehicle information.
